This Weekend in Movies: Jackie Robinson's #42 Biopic, Scary Movie 5 and Paula Patton #Disconnect (Limited Release)


Chadwick Boseman takes on the role of Jackson Robinson in the Warner Bros. bio pic. 42 
tells the life story of Jackie Robinson and, under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford), Robinson's signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers to become the first African-American player to break the baseball color line.


Most people might recognized Chadwick from the ABC Family drama Lincoln Heights or the cult favorite tv series, Persons Unknown as Sergeant Graham McNair on NBC.


Disconnect (Limited Release)
The ensemble cast in Disconnect explores the consequences of modern technology and how it affects and defines our daily relationships. "A hard-working lawyer, attached to his cell phone, can't find the time to communicate with his family. A couple is drawn into a dangerous situation when their secrets are exposed online. Paula Patton and True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard are faced with their identities being stolen while struggling with a lost of a child. 


Disconnect also stars Jason Bateman, Hope Davis, Frank Grillo, Andrea Riseborough, Michael Nyqvist, and Max Thieriot.

Scary Movie 5 is unleashed with Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen and appearances by Snoop Dogg, Terry Crews and Katt Williams.
